Education and Academic History of Ishantha Siribaddana

The academic and professional education of Dr. Ishantha Siribaddana has been received in many part of the country due to his parents work enrollment has been spanned through various parts of the country as government employees.     

1. Nursery Education - St Theresa Nursery School Kurundugaha Hathapma - Elpitya (1973 - 1974)
2. Grade 1 - Grade 3 Rajakiya Vidyalaya (Previously known as Hulandawa Nawa Kanitu Vidyalaya) Moneragala (1975 -1978)
3. Grade 4 - Grade 5 - Dharmashoka Vidyalaya (Previously Known as Kanishta Vidyalaya) Bandarawela (1978 - 1980)
   He has qualified the grade 5 scholarship examination obtaining the 8th position in Badualla District with 178 marks out of 200.
4. Grade 6 - Grade 12 - Ananda College - Colombo 10 (1980 - 1987)
   He has qualified Ordinary Level Exam with four Distinctions and four Credits and Advance level with three credits and one pass in mathematics stream.
5. Gangarama Technical School - Followed Certificate Course in Motor Engineering.  
6. Institute of Chemistry Ceylon - Followed Industrial Chemistry Graduate Program (1988 - 1991) and Ishantha Siribaddana was offered Merit Bursary Scholarship Award at the end of the first year to follow second year for the free of charge.
7. University - University of Colombo (1988 - 1994) - Completed Chemistry Special Hons Degree.
8. Engineering Design Technology - University of Peradeniya - Followed Certificate Program in  Solid works CAD Software (2000)
9. Sun Certified Java Programmer - Ishantha Siribaddana was Professionally Certified as a Sun Certified Java Programmer by the Sun Micro Systems USA in 2001.
10. Post Graduate - University of Colombo - Followed Post Graduate Diploma in IT (2002 - 2003)
11. Masters - University of Colombo - Followed Masters in IT (2003 - 2005)
12. Doctor of Business Administration (External) - Technical University of Americas (Previously known as Business School of Americas) (2006 - 2010)
    The doctoral research was directly supervised by the Prof Hubert Rampersad - Personal Branding Guru and the founder of Technical University of Americas USA.
13. Doctor of Information Technology - Open International University - Honorary PhD(IT) was Received from Open International University (Not Recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka). Doctoral Research on "Unusual Behavioural Pattern Identification in Large Databases" was done under the supervision of KIIT University of Orissa India where the founder was honored by the Open International University at the inception of the university project.
